March Madness

March Madness is here!

During March Madness (which will continue into April!), Wyckoff-Tweedie Photography is doing what we have never done before. We are offering a complete Disk of Images from Family and Children Portrait Sessions taken two years ago and before. If your family or child were photographed 2 years ago or before, you can purchase your complete session on a disk. In purchasing the disk you also are purchasing the copyrights to these images which allows you to print on your own. All the images from your session will be yours forever.

In order to be eligible to purchase your complete session you must be a family or child that was photographed in March of 2011 or before. The complete disk of images is available for $500. ***However, if you have previously ordered from your session you are able to purchase the disk for $250. You may have ordered a few of the portraits you could not live without, but what about the other images? Here is you opportunity to have all of them!

Also, to our seniors who graduated in 2012 or before, your complete Senior Portrait Session is available for $110.

If you have any questions or would like to purchase your Family or Children Portrait Session from March of 2011 or before, call our studio at 708-354-2880 or email tweedie@wyckoff.com.

Wedding Photography

Weddings, Weddings, Weddings! What an exciting time in one's life! Planning a wedding can be fun yet challenging at the same time. Some of the decisions facing couples today are difficult to navigate, for example:  How do you choose a Wedding Photographer?

Your wedding photographs are a timeless way to document your special day. Looking through your wedding portraits should give you the feeling of living your Wedding Day again. They can bring you back to seeing your new spouse for the first time, walking down the aisle together and celebrating with your friends and family. Choosing your Wedding Photographer is one of your most important Wedding Day decisions. We have provided a few strategies that may help you in your search for your Wedding Photographer.

1. Do your research. Talk to friends and family about their experiences with their Wedding Photographer. Who did their wedding photography and how happy are they with their experience? Look at their wedding album to get an idea about what you can expect from that Photographer. Also, research other Photographers in the area. Call their studios and ask questions. The more informed you are about your potential Photographers the better you will be able to decide on the right one for you.

2. Go in for "The Wedding Talk." At Wyckoff-Tweedie Photography we invite each prospective couple in for a "Wedding Talk." We feel it's important to meet your Photographer and view their work. During the talk we go over our Wedding Packages with you, helping you to design a custom Wedding Package to fit your needs and budget. We present sample wedding albums to give you an idea of the work we do and the variety of albums we can design. Also, we review details of your Wedding Day, finding the best flow for the day and times to create Group and Family Portraits.

3. Schedule an Engagement Portrait Session. An Engagement Portrait Session gives you an opportunity to work with a photographer and get to know them better. Even if you have already booked your Wedding Photographer, ask them to create your Engagement Portraits. Learning more about each other during this experience will help you be relaxed and ready for your Wedding Day.

Doing your research, going in for "The Wedding Talk" and scheduling an Engagement Portrait Session are three steps you can take to find your Wedding Photographer. Your wedding is a special day that will live on in your memory forever--be sure the timeless images will also!
